Now in its ninth year, the Texas Conference for Women continues to unite women from all walks of life around one collective bond: Texas women with the power to positively impact lives, their communities and the world.  As we set our sights on Houston, we invite you to join us for what promises to be a dynamic and thought-provoking event on October 16 at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

Internationally recognized experts in business, health, personal development, media, the environment and finance will lead workshops and share insights on the issues that matter most to women.  Attendees will discover new communication skills, leadership strategies and work/life balance tools to enhance their professional and personal growth as they take on new challenges.

The conference once again features a scholarship program that will award six $5,000 scholarships at institutions of higher education in Texas to qualified women applicants in the fields of nursing, arts, business, education, math and science, and public service.

As thousands of women of all ages and backgrounds gather in Houston, we will harness the positive energy and strength of an arena of leaders who recognize and embrace their ability to take positive, decisive action in their lives, careers and communities.
