| "I have been a regular attendee of the Texas Conference for Women. For two years, I have brought my 26-year-old daughter who is now a 'career woman'. We stay in a hotel, go out to restaurants, and have some quality mother-daughter bonding time together.
Life is very hectic, and even though we live in the same city and we do see each other, there is something about the drive to the Conference and the uninterrupted conversations, the dinners, and the Conference itself. We discuss what sessions we attended, what we learned, and what we liked about each one. It is so much fun to discuss the keynote speakers, too. I attend many conferences, but this is one event that is very special."

| "In 2005, the Texas Conference for Women contributed to my education and future with a Public Service scholarship award. Today, I am two months away from graduating from Huston-Tillotson University with a 3.98 GPA and plans to attend the LBJ school for a graduate degree in global policy studies. Thank you for helping me to achieve more than I ever could have dreamed!"
